Happy, happy Friday!
I hope you’re having the best start to your weekend!
Today’s post is highly requested and one I am really excited to share – a review of my Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag.
I will start by saying this is an investment piece. I’m in no way saying that anyone has to have a bag like this or that anyone should ever feel any pressure to spend more than they are comfortable with on any piece.
I have wanted this bag for YEARS. I received it for a Christmas present a couple of years ago, and since then have pretty much carried it non-stop.
I have the largest in this series – the GM.
I was torn between the MM (medium) and GM (large), but ultimately went with the GM because I am a taller person, and I felt that the MM looked a bit small just with my frame. Plus, I just love really big bags.
I can put my laptop in it along with a TON of other things, I mean seriously the name is so true – it can NEVER be full!
It also holds a crazy amount of weight – the salesperson told me it held up to 300 lbs! I’m not quite sure how in the world they had tested that and why but I thought that was crazy!
Obviously you’d never carry anywhere near that much weight, but that just goes to show the durability and quality of the bag.
Plus, it comes with a clutch/wallet insert that I carry by itself SO MUCH. You can see it in this post.
I’ll say it again – this bag is an investment piece. You’ll be able to carry it for decades.
This was my second Louis Vuitton – First I got the largest Speedy bag, and I really, really loved it.
Those two are kind of the classics – most everyone who gets their first Louis Vuitton goes for one of those two bags and for good reason!
I highly suggest visiting a Louis Vuitton store and trying on the bags in person before making the commitment. Once you’ve decided what style and size looks best for you, you could purchase online at Louis Vuitton or purchase a gently pre-loved bag on this website and save up to several hundred dollars.
Like I said, this post has been highly requested, but I was hesitant to do it because I’d never want to make anyone feel like they have to spend a ton of money to keep up or to be stylish.
However, if any of you are considering getting this bag, I wanted you to be able to read my honest opinion before making the purchase. I definitely read a ton of reviews before deciding on both my first and second LV.
I’d also love to do a what’s in my bag post! Let me know what you’d think about that or if you’ve been thinking of making a Neverfull purchase in the comments or on instagram.
All my love!
